How our comparisons work
The goal is to help a reader compare transaction terms, not to manufacture a permanent winner.
Physical bullion dealers
We compare the same or closely equivalent product, the same quantity and the same payment method. Important fields include delivered cost per fine ounce, payment restrictions, shipping/insurance terms, inventory, product recognition and available sell-back information.
Gold IRA companies
We focus on documented fees, minimums, custodial/depository structure, educational disclosures and contract terms. Marketing claims and promotional metals are not treated as evidence that a company is superior.
Affiliate relationships
Some merchants pay a commission when a reader buys through a marked link. Affiliate status is not used as a scoring bonus in the site quiz and is not supposed to determine comparison placement. Non-affiliate companies can remain in comparisons when useful to the reader.
Freshness
Precious-metal prices and merchant terms can change quickly. We date factual reviews and link to merchant terms where practical. Readers should verify the final checkout price and current terms directly before transacting.
What we do not claim
We do not claim that any dealer is permanently cheapest, that any Gold IRA is appropriate for every investor, or that precious metals will rise in value.
